When the spring and winter months roll around, make sure your pool is ready. John’s Pool Supplies offers pool opening and closing services to ensure your pool is ready to swim in spring and ready to hibernate in winter. Our competitively priced swimming pool opening and closing services include the following:
Pool Opening Service
- Inspect pool cover for damage
- Remove, fold and stow winter cover
- Screw down deck anchors
- Installation of deck equipment (ladders, handrails,etc...)
- Removal of winter plugs
- Reassemble pool filter
- Start pumps
- Install return fittings and skimmer baskets
- Test water and add chemicals accordingly
- Brush entire pool surface and vacuum

POOL INSPECTIONS
A swimming pool is a great investment for your home. There is a sense of confidence in the quality of the pool if you hired the contractor, selected the materials and design, and were actively involved throughout the project. But what if you are purchasing a home with an existing pool? How would you know if it is working as intended? Are there any repairs needed? John’s Pool Supplies offers residential pool inspection services to put your mind at ease.
We perform a visual and operational inspection of the pool and equipment. An average inspection takes about an hour and the fee is due upon completion.
We do not make any repairs nor do we perform any pressure testing of plumbing lines as part of an inspection. If there is reason to suspect underground lines are leaking, we will make the recommendation to perform any necessary pressure testing.

CLEANING SERVICES
Most pool owners understand the importance of keeping their pools and spas clean, chemically balanced and properly maintained, but few have the time or desire to do it themselves. With John’s Pool Supplies, you don't have to! Our adept, dependable maintenance technicians specialize in handling the hard work so you can spend your time enjoying your pool, not laboring over it. In order for us to fit your needs, we offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly pool maintenance packages to choose from.
A routine maintenance visit may include such services as:

- Brushing and/or vacuuming walls, bottom, and steps
- Skimming surface debris
- Water testing and chemical balancing, and
- Periodically emptying filter baskets, backwashing, and cleaning filters as applicable
